Yuri Camargo
Biologist.
He holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS - 2014), a specialization in Fauna Inventory and Monitoring (UFRGS - 2018), and a Master's in Animal Biology (UFRGS - 2019).
He is a researcher at the Laboratory of Systematics and Ecology of Birds and Marine Mammals (LABSMAR-UFRGS) and a member of the Barra do Rio Tramandaí Dolphin Project. He has experience in research and outreach activities with coastal vertebrates, with an emphasis on marine mammals, as well as in fauna inventory and monitoring of vertebrates and research and outreach project management. He also has experience in interviews and action-research methodologies, in addition to science communication, academic outreach, and environmental education.
