Manuel Gianoni

Visual Artist

Graduated in Visual Arts. Postgraduate in Artistic Education, Culture, and Citizenship. Diploma in Anthropology of Art.

Artist, teacher, audiovisual producer. Since 2000, he has coordinated and participated in artistic research projects, cultural dissemination initiatives, art laboratories, and collective and individual exhibitions. He is the co-creator and coordinator of projects that reflect on Territory, Body, Landscape, Memory, etc., inviting contributions from transversal perspectives and enabling the collaborative participation of various communities, including 'Continuum: the body as a territory of media practices' 2013 (Manuel Gianoni and Vivian Castro), 'Script: Open: Essays for the construction of micro-narratives' 2019 (Manuel Gianoni and Alejandra González Soca), and 'Navigating Cartographies, in the Cuenca del Río Negro' 2022 (Manuel Gianoni and Ana Rodríguez). He has developed projects supported by national and international institutions, including MEC, MA, MGAP, MIEM, FFCC, DINAGUA, FRC, IMM, IMR, IDM, IMS, UDELAR, CURE, UNESCO, UCHILE, MAM CHILE, MACA, Kavlin Foundation, Telefónica, among others.
