Currently, I am a fellow of the National Postdoctoral Program (PNPD/CAPES) in the Biological Oceanography graduate program at FURG. My professional trajectory is marked by extensive experience in the fields of Ecology and Biology, with a focus on Applied Ecology for the research and conservation of aquatic mammals. I have participated in various expeditions to remote areas, including the Saint Peter and Saint Paul Archipelago and Antarctica, as part of the Brazilian Antarctic Program. My field expertise also encompasses cetaceans in coastal and estuarine regions in Brazil, as well as research in the Amazon rivers. I currently coordinate the Talude Project, which conducts oceanographic cruises in offshore waters in Brazil. Additionally, I teach the course "Public Policies for Marine Biodiversity Conservation in Brazil" in the Biological Oceanography graduate program.
