Oceanologist

She holds a degree in Oceanology from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) and a Master's degree from the Graduate Program in Biological Oceanography at FURG

She has worked at the Laboratory of Ecology and Conservation of Marine Megafauna at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), conducting research and supporting projects. She currently works at the R3 Animal Association as the Operational Manager of the Beach Monitoring Project - PMP-BS and assists with research and conservation programs. She has experience in Environmental Management and Oceanography, with an emphasis on Biological Oceanography, focusing primarily on the following topics: Ecology and conservation of marine species; Interaction between cetaceans and fishing activities; Biodiversity and fishing effort monitoring with a focus on endangered species; Conservation and management of Aquatic Mammals; Antarctic Marine Mammals; Marine Mammals as Environmental Monitoring Platforms; Marine Mammal Foraging Ecology; Ecological spatial analysis and modeling of marine megafauna.
