Carolina Menchaca
Biologist
Biologist specialized in animal behavior from the Faculty of Sciences, University of the Republic, Uruguay, and Master’s in Ecology and Evolution from the Basic Sciences Development Program (PEDECIBA), Uruguay.
She has been part of the Toninas Project since 2010 and of Yaqu Pacha Uruguay since its foundation. She focuses on the study of social behavior and acoustic communication of the Lahille’s bottlenose dolphin and actively participates in other Yaqu Pacha Uruguay projects, which involve coordination with interdisciplinary groups, environmental education, and citizen science. She is passionate about new technologies and enjoys exploring new solutions for scientific research.
